Golf in Kazakhstan

J. McCullough (Golf in the Year 2000, 1892) ennvisioned many golfing marvels, some of which have come to pass, but he probably never imagined how far the game of golf would reach by the 21st century. Golf fever has even hit Kazakhstan, where the first Kazakhstan Open--officially a part of the European Challenge Tour--will be held in September. The big event will be held at the Nurtau Club in central Almaty in Kazakhstan.
