Would That It Were is an online magazine of historical science fiction. Nope, they don't republish old material; instead they offer new, original stories containing "an element of science and a tie to the 19th or early 20th century, or an arguable tie to a historical period clearly in the Industrial Age." Good looking site, entertaining and well-written stories (they pay their writers!), and an interesting concept. Recommended!
