You Are Getting Thirsty

So head on out to the lobby for a deliciously cold coke while you ponder attorney August Bullock's contention that subliminal ads are being flashed between regular commercials and the shows on the Sci-fi Channel. I thought subliminal advertising had been discredited long ago. Ah, but maybe that's what they want us to believe. Bullock is the author of The Secret Sales Pitch: An Overview of Subliminal Advertising, described as an “underground” textbook which argues that subliminals have long been used in media. In this case, the flashed subliminal ads were discovered by a reader who had taped the Sci-fi shows and was editing out the commercials for future viewing. Be sure to take a look at Bullock's highly entertaining web site, SubliminalSex.com.
