Live to 150 with DHEA?
With all the news over Protandim (one of the latest supposed antiaging supplements) and more radical anti-aging approaches such as gene manipulation, one subtance continues to quietly rack up studies suggesting that it actually can slow the clock and reverse many of the "normal" accompaniments of getting older--fat buildup, lack of energy, declining libido, lessened mental functioning. That substance is DHEA.
DHEA is controversial, though. After all, it is a hormone, a powerful chemical produced naturally by our bodies (but which declines precipitously with age). Lately it has been in the headlines as a legal "steroid" of choice for bodybuilders and young athletes. Even pro-DHEA experts are warning against its use by people under 30.
Given the arguments over DHEA--its antiaging promises as well as its alleged dangers--I have started a new web site devoted entirely to presenting the facts, good and bad, about this substance and the use of it in supplements. The site is DHEA for Antiaging and the URL is www.dhea-youth.com.

I could just see myself rolling out of a golf cart at Harbor Hills at 130 or something. If it had one of those swing around seats I could hit off of that.
